No, this isn't right. I loathe George Bush, but that doesn't mean I want to make up stuff about him, either. At the time of his 2000 election, George W. did have national experience at several presidential campaign level with his father, in addition to his executive experience as Texas governor. Texas is a weak governor state, but even so, his years in charge of an important state does count for substantially more than the ~10 months she spent as Alaska governor. He looked better on paper than he was, obviously.
