life intervenes
so yesterday, the Sisyphus family and the Talking Dog family went to the mermaid parade on Coney Island, where there were many breasts, and got rained on, and saw walrusses.

Today, I have a houseful of children coming for a barbecue that's probably going to get rained out.

Me and Harry Potter need a bubble bath, I think.

if the weather was better, we would have been at the parade. how was it? it looked like a blast.

we hope to go to the Siren Festival. We went last year.

it was great fun. (astonishing variety, the human breast)

If you see any pictures of a little girl in a pink dress with a peppermint-striped derby hat and a leapard-trimmed sweater watching the parade piled with swag, it's mine.
